Born in Padova, she obtained a degree in Mathematics with a special focus on Electronics. She began her career in Engineering Ingegneria Informatica S.p.a. to then move on, in 1990, to what is now known as Infocamere S.c.p.a. (previously CERVED).
Head of the Chamber Services area – which manages the “non Business Register” services that InfoCamere offers to Italian Chambers of Commerce – she has matured a diverse set of experiences. Indeed, she has worked in many different contexts: from the development of applications in HOST IBM environments for large companies, to the research, development, design and creation of phone and videoconference systems, to the first client/server electronic mail systems, WEB applications and provision of mail and access services to the Chambers of Commerce, later managing large-scale projects.
With regards to the Internet, she has always been interested in the services that it can help to offer: this is how she became involved in e-learning. She designed and produced, for the first time in the company, web-based training courses and put together an editorial team for the generation of “educational pills” on topics that could be of interest to Chamber clients, with the objective of improving the client’s image and satisfaction, but also their knowledge and use of company products.
After this experience, she was made head of the Training and Consultancy Area and, later on, of the Area she is currently working in.
She is a member of Donne e Tecnologie [Women and Technologies Association].
