Paola Frignani, born in Milan on 9th July 1977, is interested in new forms of communication that are tied to video entertainment. Being in contact with different sectors, from communication to advertising, from education to entertainment, she has been able to develop a personal type of research on the professions existing in the digital universe.
She collaborates with the Leader Group, the biggest Italian player in the video entertainment sector, developing new production channels for videogames and investigating the relationship between videogames and learning.
Since 2005, she has dedicated herself to university teaching, developing educational courses aimed at the video entertainment sector and holding Digital Entertainment seminars at IULM University in Milan.
In 2008, she contributed to the organisation, in IULM University, of the first Master’s course centred entirely on the world of videogames. She aims to focus the University’s interest on the videogame as both an emerging interactive product and an educational resource.
She shares her know-how and her skills in the video entertainment sector in order to create events that promote videogames not only as an entertainment products, but also as a means of communication. In October 2009, she collaborated in the organisation of the Italian Videogame Developer Conference, the first National Congress of Italian game developers; official annual summit of Confindustria’s Italian Videogame Producers.
